What an Ambassador does

The role.

Ambassadors are the people who bring AI capability to life locally — and represent IAIDL in their city.

Host local meetups

Run regular IAIDL community events — talks, live builds, workshops and demos.

Grow the community

Welcome newcomers, connect members and build a thriving local AI community.

Represent IAIDL

Be the friendly face of IAIDL in your city — sharing what we do and why it matters.

The process

How to become an Ambassador.

A clear, five-step path from application to your first event.

01

Apply

Complete the ambassador application — your details, your community and how you would host IAIDL meetups.

02

We review your application

We read every application and email you the next steps. We open new locations gradually — if we are at capacity in your region this is not a rejection; we will reach out the moment a slot opens.

03

Video introduction

When we open capacity near you, we invite you to record a short video — a simple, in-browser recording so we can get to know you and why you want to be an IAIDL Ambassador.

04

Welcome & onboarding

Once approved, we welcome you on board, feature you on the public IAIDL Ambassador page, and bring you into the Ambassador Slack channel.

05

Your Ambassador account

You receive your IAIDL Ambassador login and everything you need to host your first event.
